Worship Services

Worship Services

We would invite you to join us for Sunday morning worship! Each week we have two services and Sunday school for all ages.

  • 8:30 a.m. - Traditional Service
  • 9:45 a.m. - Sunday School
  • 11:00 am - Contemporary Service

At our traditional service, you will hear the chancel choir and organ music. At the contemporary service, our praise band leads the music, and children from 3-years-old through first grade are invited to attend Kid’s Korner halfway through the service, following the "Children's Moment". Sunday school starts at 9:45am for adults and youth, however, during the school year children meet for music at 9:30am (Singing 4 God) or 9:45am (Ringing 4 God) before their regular classes at 10:00am.

Chancel Choir

North Cross’ chancel choir is led by Music Director Jerry Valet and made up of many talented singers from the congregation. Collectively the choir has accomplished many great things, including a trip to England where they performed three concerts in historic cathedrals. North Cross is very thankful for and proud of our choir and the joyful noise they bring to our traditional service. The choir practices on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm and anyone is welcome to join.

4One Praise Band

Our praise band is led by Worship Arts Director Ken Remmert, and is made up of several musically talented church members. The band's name, 4One, stands for: One God, One Man, One Hope, One Truth, and the number 4 represents those four elements. The band plays contemporary Christian music at our later Sunday service. The band practices on Thursday evenings at 4:30pm.

Sanctuary Bells

The handbell choir is led by the very talented Steve Lindsay. This group consists of both adults and youth who make special appearances in our services throughout the year. It is always a pleasure to hear their beautiful ringing. They currently practice on Sundays at 4:30p.m. Anyone is welcome to join, no experience necessary.

Singing 4 God

North Cross has a wonderful children's choir called Singing 4 God for children in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. They practice each Sunday from 9:30am-9:50am in Room 110 before Sunday School and perform in church services on the second Sunday of every month. Hearing the children sing can surely brighten anybody's day. If you would like to know more about the children's choir, please contact Ken Remmert.
